Chynas training came from the most visionary make-up artists who worked with her while she was globe-trotting as a fashion model. She garnered the secrets of her trade while gracing numerous covers of Elle, Vogue and other international magazines. Since she was discovered by Elle Hong Kong at the tender age of 17, there was no stopping Chyna, both behind and in front of the camera. She was trained at the prestigious Roger Craig Salon in Hong Kong (whose team came from Vidal Sasson in London). Chyna has worked with top Asian celebrities such as Andy Lau, Alan Tam, and magazines such as Eve, Elle and Mode H.K. Chyna headed for New York City in 1995, where a dynamic chapter of her life began. She was immediately hired as the hair and make-up artist for Miss Wonton, a film by Dreamchamber that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was released worldwide. She has also worked on numerous NY Fashion Shows and for Yves St. Laurent, U.S Open, and Oscar nominee. After a nine-year hiatus at Brooklyn College which earned her a B.A. in Fine Art, and M.A in Thanatology, Chyna is continue to work in backstage on hair and make up styling along with her new career as a grief counselor and educator.
